Zhengheng Power Won the Award of “Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievements in Nonferrous Metal New Materials”.
In the recently concluded 2024 (4th) International Conference on New Nonferrous Metals Materials (ICNFM), Zhenhengheng Power won the award of “Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievements in New Nonferrous Metals Materials” by virtue of its research achievements in the preparation of key components of the power system of combustion engine and its strengthening technology and application. This honor is not only the recognition of the company’s scientific and technological innovation ability in the field of non-ferrous metal new materials, but also the affirmation of its contribution in promoting the technological progress of the industry.
This award is a research achievement jointly completed by Chengdu Zhengheng Power, Kunming University of Science and Technology, New Materials Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Sciences and Chongqing University, which stands out among many other participating projects. The research result mainly focuses on the preparation technology of the key components of the power system of the combustion engine, especially the innovative application in the field of thermal spraying, which provides an effective solution to improve the performance and prolong the service life of the components.
As an important participant of the project, Zhengheng Power, with its profound accumulation and technological innovation ability in the field of internal combustion engine manufacturing, provided key technical support and application practice for the project.
In 2016, Zhengheng Power introduced the first bore rotary plasma spraying equipment in China, and sprayed a functional coating on the surface of the cylinder bore of the cylinder block through the bore plasma spraying process (APS) to realize the goals of low friction, low fuel consumption, high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance.The advantage of the APS process lies in the fact that it can be used in the widest type of coating components, from metal materials, metal composite materials to ceramic materials, and is applicable to meet the maximum requirements of the engine. The advantage of the APS process is that it can be applied to the widest range of coating components, from metals, metal composites to ceramics, to meet the most varied conditions and challenges faced by engines, while at the same time obtaining better coating bond strength and optimum porosity. After years of technical precipitation and development, Zhengheng Power has developed nearly 30 different models of cylinder bore spraying products for many domestic automobile manufacturers and motorcycle manufacturers, and has gained consistent high praise from customers!
