On December 27, 2016, the last two engines of Jiangbei plant of Chongqing Chang’an Automobile Co., Ltd. were successfully put off the production line, with 277487 engines of D series and 732202 engines of C series as the successful conclusion.
Changan Automobile Jiangbei factory, established in February 1996, is the largest micro car production base of Changan Automobile. Due to the needs of Changan Automobile business development, the engine production and manufacturing business will be relocated to Yuzui base as a whole. At the same time, the two engines have also completed their mission. Today’s last two engines will be their final masterpiece.
