On March 16, 2018, the 2017 supplier conference of SAIC Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. was held in Shanghai. The theme of the conference was "focus and climb the peak". More than 160 suppliers from all over the country attended the event. Mr. Lei Nengbin, deputy general manager of Zhengheng Co., Ltd., LED the team to attend the conference.

The conference summarized the achievements made by Shangchai in 2017, fully affirmed the achievements made by the long-term cooperation between Shangchai and suppliers, and jointly looked forward to the prospect of further strengthening strategic cooperation between the supplier and the demander and the ideas and objectives of seeking progress in stability in 2018.

Chengdu Tonglin Foundry Industry Co., Ltd., a foundry under Zhengheng Co., Ltd., was honored to receive the "2017 excellent supporting Award" issued by Shangchai Co., Ltd. In 2011, the foundry of Chengdu Zhengheng Power Co., Ltd. entrusted by Shangchai power successfully developed and matched VM engine cylinder blocks. By the end of 2017, the cumulative supply reached 133000 units, and the product qualification rate has been stable at more than 98.5% for a long time.
Shangchai VM model is in a leading position at home and abroad in terms of commercial vehicle power technology, and its emission meets the requirements of Euro v. this engine cylinder block is equipped with SAIC Maxus V80 light bus and SAIC Iveco high-end models, which has won unanimous praise in the market with strong power, fuel saving and solid foundation!
