In terms of production facilities, Cheng Heng Power has built a new independent production line for the processing of BYD4H20 engine blocks. This production line is equipped with industry-leading processing equipment, which can flexibly cope with the complex structure and shape of the cylinder block and realize all-round, high-precision processing; meanwhile, it is equipped with advanced automatic testing equipment, which runs through the whole process and carries out real-time monitoring of the processing quality of each process.

In the machining process planning, for the top surface of the cylinder block, thrust surface, crankshaft bore and other key important parts, a number of roughing, semi-finishing and finishing processes are carefully designed. According to the special design requirements of BYD4H20 engine cylinder bore, the honing process was optimized in depth. Through repeated tests and parameter adjustments, the honed cylinder bore has a mirror-like smooth surface, and the roughness and cylindricity are controlled within the extremely stringent range, which effectively reduces the friction coefficient between the piston and the cylinder wall, and not only enhances the power output efficiency of the engine, but also significantly prolongs the engine’s service life, and builds up a solid foundation for the vehicle’s excellent performance.
