At the 2024 Supplier Conference of Kaiyue Locomotive held on February 17, 2025, Chengdu Zhengheng Power Co., Ltd. won the “Quality Excellence Award” of Kaiyue Locomotive’s 2024 engine by virtue of the exclusive supply of EBS engine block for Kaiyue 800 series, which was awarded with “Quality Excellence Award” by Kaiyue Locomotive for its excellent technological stability and technological innovation ability. “This award is not only an honor for Cheng Heng Power. This award not only highly recognizes the technical strength and quality control of Cheng Heng Power, but also highlights the competitiveness of the core parts of domestic large-displacement motorcycle engines in the global market.
A model of lightweight and high performance
The EBS engine block provided by Zhengheng Power for Kaiyue 800 series is the core component of Kaiyue’s self-developed 799cc. The cylinder block adopts high-pressure die-casting process and aluminum alloy material, combined with advanced thermal spraying technology to ensure the lightweight design of the cylinder block under high strength. Its maximum power reaches 71kW, maximum torque is 80N-m, and the overall vehicle mass is only 185kg, which significantly improves the power-to-weight ratio of the Kaiyue 800 series.
